Due to the varied nature of each function there is no standard price structure. This changes with the type of event, size and location, season and other factors. Below you will find some information to help you get a better idea of what to expect

Cost of the Menu
The type of event can be the biggest factor determining what your cost will be. Due to the nature of different events i.e. what kind of service you need, whether its buffet or plate service or if the menu is complex or simple. The following are really estimates and should be worked out for an exact cost
Kiddush from $10 - 20 per person
Breakfast /Brunch from $12 - 20 per person
Served Meal from $18 +
Buffet Meal from $12 +

Labor Cost
The type of function you have and the numbers of guests and how many courses you have will determine what type of staff you need. Included in the menu price is all kitchen staff etc. used before the event. You will be charged for the staff it takes to set up and Break down and manage an event. The average sit down dinner will require 1 server for 20 people with China and Silverware. For a buffet this number is 1 server for 30 people. With Paper goods these numbers decrease by approximately 50%. Additional service staff may be added to reduce service time etc. Also to be included is additional support staff such as Bartenders, Hostess Service, Coat Check, valet, Dishwashers etc. The Cost of labor is generally $3-4 per person but can be higher depending on the level of service required.

Rentals
Shmoozers will provide where possible all Cooking and serving Equipment and Utensils at no additional cost. Consider if you need China and Silverware or if you can use paper goods. Do you need Tables and Chairs or does your facility supply them. All these factors have to be considered and as such we cannot even begin to estimate this cost. We work very closely with Raphaels and we organize all aspects of rentals with them at no extra cost to you. Often, rental pieces will be needed to create a special effect you may desire. Many unique items are available and we are sure to help you in this aspect so you can attain the perfect atmosphere you desire.

Facility
The cost a facility chargers a caterer will be passed on to you. We have a number of places we cater in and will be glad to help you procure any one of these.

Mashgiach
For all catering under the Vaad Harabonim of San Diego you will need a Mashgiach. Depending on whether it is Meat or Dairy or where you are having the event will determine your cost
